Georgetown Cultural Council
Mission:
The Georgetown Cultural Council (GCC) is a Town-appointed group of volunteers who strive to bring creative arts, sciences, and humanities to the citizens of Georgetown through their advocacy, leadership, and vision. The GCC funds exemplary artists and arts organizations and provides programs, events, and services of public value that educate and engage all audiences in our community. The GCC provides access to the arts for people of all cultural backgrounds, economic status, sexual orientation, age, and physical ability and ensures broad public access to the arts. We further believe in and maintain high management and governance standards as directed by Mass Cultural Council and our Town’s Selectmen, which support the health and vibrancy of the arts community.

FY25 Local Guidelines
The Georgetown Cultural Council (GCC) requires all Grant Applications that propose being onsite at a venue that the applicant includes documentation from said venue that states they want the activity to take place in their venue i.e. if you say your event will take place at the Georgetown Library, you include documentation from the Georgetown Library endorsing said event.
