Alford-Egremont Cultural Council

The Alford-Egremont Cultural Council makes grant decisions following the carefully structured guidelines of the state program while referencing local needs. The Council is committed to funding a diverse cross-section of activities in the realms of the arts, humanities and the environment and to programs that have a determined venue and date. The Council consciously attempts to divide funds evenly between programs that serve specific populations and those that benefit the entire local community. Special consideration is given to projects and programs that take place in Alford and Egremont and neighboring towns.
