Topsfield Cultural Council
The Topsfield Cultural Council (TCC) promotes cultural activities in the Town of Topsfield, Massachusetts. Full and partial grants are awarded to individuals and organizations that sponsor and/or promote cultural activities through the arts, humanities and interpretive sciences with priority given to activities and programs that directly benefit the citizens of Topsfield. All applications must be made online in accordance with the deadlines established by MCC.
Previous grant recipients have offered artist workshops for all age groups; concerts on the Town Green; educational science programs, magic shows and various art and music events scheduled at local elementary schools, the Town Library and the Topsfield Town Hall. In addition, financial support for programs was provided to the Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestra, the Musary, the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary and the Massachusetts Audubon Society. The Council also works closely with the Council on Aging, Masconomet Regional Schools, Parks and Recreation and other local agencies.

FY26 Local Priorities
Priority will be given to local artists or organizations whose proposed programming or performances directly benefit the residents of our community. The Topsfield Cultural Council strives to ensure that our program awards promote diversity and inclusion as well as appeal, or in specific program proposals target, different age groups including children, teens, families, seniors, etc.
Previous TCC grant recipients include: the Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestra, nature programs through the Ipswich Wildlife Refuge and Audubon Society, a photography project for Middle School students, Historical Society presentations, local Town festivals such as the annual Strawberry Festival and Holiday on the Green, summer music concerts, children’s reading programs, artist workshops and programs through the Council on Aging.
FY26 Local Guidelines
Grant applications must be done online and submitted between September 2 through October 16, 2025, for the upcoming year in accordance with the eligibility requirements of Mass Cultural Council. The Topsfield Cultural Council (TCC) awards partial and full grants and requests information on alternative sources of funding to support any proposed program. Priority will be given to local artists or organizations whose projects or programs directly benefit the citizens of Topsfield. TCC strives to ensure that are program awards promote diversity and appeal to different age groups including children, families, teens, seniors, etc. We also encourage applicants to select local venues to support their prospective programming and promote collaboration with other organizations in our community.
Applicants for our Summer Concert Series are encouraged to attach either a compilation of existing music videos or a link to stream music samples. Concerts are held outside on Sundays between 4-6 pm on the Topsfield Town Common during July and August. Please note multiple or preferred performance dates on your application to ensure proper permitting documents.
