FY26 Allocation
$54,400
FY26 Local Priorities
Somerville provides grants for project, fellowship, and fieldtrip (for schools only). We support artist work through a local community panel process which is reviewed in the following genres: visual art, music, film/video, interrelated media, literature/writing, dance/theater, and cultural heritage. Somerville is one of the few LCC to prioritize support for individual artists through it’s fellowship grants. While we do not have the financial capacity to support “operational support” grants to organizations, organizations are encouraged to develop project grants that can enhance their missions.
FY26 Local Guidelines
Applicants must review our local guidelines prior to completing the MCC/LCC online portal application. This is especially important for Fellowship applications. To see our guidelines go here: https://somervilleartscouncil.org/lcc/ Our guidelines will help you in response to the MCC/LCC portal application questions.
