FY22 Allocation

FY22 Local Priorities

The Sandwich Cultural Council awards grants to organizations and individuals for the presentation of quality programs in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences. Priority will be given to applications that demonstrate a direct public benefit to the Town of Sandwich.

Our goal is to fund a broad range of programs so that all members of our community will find something of interest.
We encourage:
-projects that fall within a virtual or digital setting;
-proposals from local and area artists, schools, nonprofits, and local organizations;
-programs/projects that promote art education;
-collaboration between cultural groups and community organizations.

Only online applications will be accepted. If you have any questions regarding use of the online application process, please contact us at:

Please be sure to:
-include confirmation that your project will be hosted at a local venue and/or confirmed sponsor;
-show community interest, involvement, or support;
-state the qualifications, accomplishments, track-record of the applicant group or individual leading the project.

Depending on the amount of grant money available each year from the MCC, successful applicants are usually awarded grants between $150 and $500. Awards may be for full or partial funding of a program/project.
