New Marlborough Cultural Council

The New Marlborough Cultural Council is a vibrant group who through active fundraising is able to provide cultural and educational programs for people of all ages in our community. Our mission is to enrich the lives of all community members through the grants and programs we provide. Each year we award up to 30 individual grants that expand school programs, send students on trips, help local artists and bring cultural events to the town. The Council also sponsors several annual events. Each summer, our Elihu Burritt Day festival fills the Town Green with music, food and crafts vendors, community organizations, a white elephant sale, petting zoo, children’s activities – including hay rides for children of all ages – and an antique car show. The cultural council gives an award to a townsperson who has given outstanding volunteer service to our community. We also sponsor a potluck dinner for the community.
