Maynard Cultural Council
The Maynard Cultural Council supports community cultural projects through its grant programs. It awards grants to local organizations that adhere to the Mass Cultural Council Guidelines and our local Maynard Guidelines. Local and regional artists and arts organizations are eligible to apply for grants. The Council, appointed by the selectmen, prioritizes new initiatives and gives preference to artists and events that benefit Maynard.

FY25 Allocation
$8,600
FY25 Local Priorities
Projects that coordinate and collaborate with multiple individuals and institutions within Maynard.
We will prioritize programs that benefit the citizens of Maynard, in particular those that emphasize content for children and seniors.
We also will prioritize projects that benefit public spaces in Maynard and encourage tourism.
FY25 Local Guidelines
The program must occur between 1/1/25 and 12/31/25, with priority granted to those events occurring after 2/1/25.
