Marshfield Cultural Council
The mission of Massachusetts Cultural Council and its local cultural council
partners is to:
“Promote excellence, access, education and diversity in the arts,
humanities and interpretive sciences, in order to improve the quality of life
for all Massachusetts residents and to contribute to the economic vitality of
our communities.”
The Marshfield Cultural Council reviews all applications giving priority to
projects that benefit Marshfield residents and have a local sponsor and
venue secured. We strongly encourage applicants to submit a letter of
support from said sponsor / venue that includes details of the applicant’s
connection and potential beneficial impact to the citizens of Marshfield.
The goal of the Marshfield Cultural Council is to support applicants across
S.T.R.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Reading & writing, Engineering, Arts
and Mathematics) and to fulfill a wide range of programming for multiple
ages and interests.

FY26 Local Priorities
We eagerly review all applications but give priority to projects that benefit Marshfield residents and already have a Marshfield sponsor or venue in place. We strongly encourage applicants to submit a letter of

Summary: We prioritize awards to programming which represents a diversity of audiences, experiences and are scheduled at various times.
