The Lakeville Arts Council’s (LAC) ongoing mission is to encourage and support the arts as a vital part of our community.
The Arts allow us to become who we can be. Imagine the world without music, dance, literature or art. The Lakeville Arts Council strives to support all forms of art within our community so everyone can experience the arts in it’s many diverse forms.
The LAC accomplishes our mission through various programs through- out the calendar year.
Our main event is the Lakeville Arts & Music Festival, in its 18th year, is FREE to the community and a celebration of the arts and culture in the southeastern region of Massachusetts. For other events please check our website or email us at Lakeville.Arts.Council@hotmail.com.

FY24 Local Priorities
The Lakeville Arts Council will give priority to projects that serve Lakeville youth or Lakeville seniors and/or the Lakeville community as a whole.
Projects MUST take place during the calendar year (January 2024 – December 2024).
In addition to the state criteria, applications will be evaluated by how well the program meets our local guidelines as follows:
*Funding priority is given to Lakeville artists and organizations.
*Programs of artists or organizations outside Lakeville which will benefit
Lakeville residents are also considered and will be asked to be scheduled
at the Lakeville Public Library through the Library Director or Children’s Librarian and/or the Senior Center or at other Lakeville venues.

•Evidence of prior service and dedication of the applicant via a letter of recommendation(s).
•If teaching is involved, evidence of the craft/art/talent via images attached as supplemental materials and/or a listed website and/or link to view the evidence.
