FY22 Local Priorities
Paper applications are no longer accepted, please apply online. All grants that receive funding are required to submit reimbursement paperwork electronically to email@example.com.
Our mission is to support cultural events for the citizens of Hingham and surrounding communities on the South Shore. Applications that fit this criteria are given priority.
Please note, for FY2022, the Hingham Cultural Council requests that if a large portion of your application includes salary, please notate what the salary is for in the application.
It was determined that many of the applications we received included salary. Salary can be broken down into salary for the applicant, salary for a performer, salary for a police detail, etc. Consideration for funding varies greatly based on how any salary is applied. Salary to the organization preparing and or applying for the grant shall not receive the same validation for granting as salary used towards performances and or event needs.
FY22 Local Guidelines
All grant applicants must have a local sponsor or host organization.
All applicants must submit completed applications by the statewide postmark deadline of October 15. In years when October 15 falls on a Sunday, the statewide deadline is the Monday immediately following October 15. Late applications cannot be accepted.
