FY25 Local Priorities
The Harvard Cultural Council gathers input from the community on a regular basis and develops funding priorities based on this feedback. Based on feedback from the periodic surveys, the HCC local priorities are as follows:
We encourage submissions in the areas of artistic performances of any kind, local historic programs, and other projects clearly within the guidelines of the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
We focus on events and activities that take place in Harvard and serve Harvard residents. We strongly encourage applicants to partner with a local Harvard sponsor before applying.
Also note that applications for general operating expenses, fund scholarships or (non-municipal) capital expenses will not be considered.
All applications must be made online; no paper applications will be considered, according to the state policy.
FY25 Local Guidelines
All applications must be submitted by October 16. Late applications will not be considered.
Applications from organizations and individuals based in Harvard and surrounding towns are given priority. Applicants not affiliated with a local or regional organization must include a letter of support from a Harvard-based partner organization confirming performance date and venue.
Applicants are encouraged to contact the council members for assistance if needed.
