Groton Cultural Council
The Groton Cultural Council seeks to support a wide variety of arts, humanities and science programming in the community,. We serve all members of our community, inclusive of all races, religions, ages, ethnicities, sexual orientation and cultures. Our past grants have contributed to musical events, humanities programs, lectures, art shows, history exhibits, and environmental activities, contributing to the vitality of our community.

FY24 Allocation
$7,900
FY24 Local Priorities
Our priorities are to provide opportunities for cultural equity, diversity and inclusion.
Projects that that benefit the local Groton community inclusive of all ages, ethnic, POC, LGBTQX, religious and cultural backgrounds, or persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply and given equal consideration.
Projects may include public benefit through Arts, Humanities, and Sciences.
FY24 Local Guidelines
Limit grant amounts to a maximum of 1,500.00
Limit the number of applications to 4 per organization
Full or partial funding
Field trips are eligible for reimbursement for tickets, travel and guide fees.
Capitol expenditure requests are allowed with limitations.
Applicant eligibility includes: Individuals, Incorporated non profit organizations, Unincorporated associations, Incorporated for-profit organizations, Tribal, federal, state and municipal government organizations and religious organizations.
LCC monies can not be used to purchase food or beverages, LCC can not fund activities that are “inherently religious”
