Gardner Cultural Council
The Gardner Cultural Council, one of many local cultural councils throughout Massachusetts, supports public programs that promote access, education, diversity, and excellence in the arts, humanities and interpretive sciences in Gardner.
GCC has the responsibility to award grants that address cultural needs in our community, with an emphasis on providing cultural access for children, families, and the community at large.

FY24 Local Priorities
The Gardner Cultural Council supports applications from artists and performers who primarily focus their programs on children, families and the elderly of Gardner. Priority is given to applications from a local artist, organization or group that has secured a local venue. Schools and libraries, not artists, should apply for projects that take place in schools or libraries. Applications (standard and field trip) must be completed online by the posted deadline. No paper applications will be accepted. An incomplete application may serve as basis for rejection. Handicap Accessibility: Every effort should be made to conduct activities in a handicap accessible facility. Priority will be given to indoor programs which are conducted at an accessible venue; Outdoor programs with limited accessibility will be evaluated based on their over all benefit and ease of access to the greatest number of people. The Council does not provide awards for general operating support or for refreshments.
