FY22 Local Priorities
The Gardner Cultural Council supports applications from artists and performers who primarily focus their programs on children, families and the elderly of Gardner. Priority is given to applications from a local artist, organization or group that has secured a local venue. Schools, not artists, should apply for projects that take place in schools. Applications (standard and field trip) must be completed on line by the posted deadline. NO paper applications will be accepted. An incomplete application may serve as basis for rejection. Handicap Accessibility: Every effort should be made to conduct activities in a handicap accessible facility. Priority will be given to indoor programs which are conducted at an accessible venue; Outdoor programs with limited accessibility will be evaluated based on their overall benefit and ease of access to the greatest number of people. The Council does not fully fund any project nor does it provide awards for general operating support, or for refreshments.
