Chelmsford Cultural Council

The Chelmsford Cultural Council is committed to funding a diverse cross-section of activities. We support a variety of art forms, works of local artists, environmental education projects and collaborative proposals that bring together artists, organizations, and local cultural groups in projects that serve Chelmsford and the surrounding communities.

The Council usually meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts, 1A North Road, Chelmsford MA in the first floor conference room. All meetings are open to the public.

Provide physical accessibility and financial inclusivity for all Chelmsford residents

FY27 Local Guidelines

There is no restriction on the number of applications; however, no applicant or organization shall receive more than $3500 in total.

Applicants are encouraged to show additional sources of collaboration or support, such as endorsements from other Chelmsford institutions.

Applications should show clear evidence of benefit to Chelmsford residents.

Applications from organizations that have failed to complete previous awards or have unsuccessfully challenged prior decisions may be denied.
