As the Mass Cultural Council launches a d/Deaf and Disability Equity Plan, the Universal Participation (UP) Initiative has invited Darian Gambrell, Executive Director of Deaf, Inc. to discuss the distinction of Deaf culture within the Disability movement. The Agency’s d/Deaf and Disability Equity Plan is a comprehensive, multi-year approach to address both its internal workings as well as the responsibilities of external stakeholders. This is the first office hour to begin unpacking the Plan. Cultural workers from across the Commonwealth are invited to attend this conversation.
