The Universal Participation Initiative provides organizations that have received the UP Designation with the Innovation Fund, a $5,000 grant for building and/or improving Access, as directed by institutional priorities and human/financial capacity.
In FY25, Mass Cultural Council will be partnering with Open Door Arts and using their Self-Assessment tool to leverage its d/Deaf and Disability Equity Plan. Staff from UP organizations are invited to attend this info session which will outline the new criteria for the grant.
