Emily Ruddock of MASSCreative joins us to talk about the power we all share when we advocate together. Over the last eight years, the creative communities across Massachusetts successfully campaigned for a larger budget for the Mass Cultural Council, the formation of the Cultural Facilities Fund, and municipal matching funds to amplify investments in the Local Cultural Councils. This doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when we come together to ask for things we need. We’ll discuss opportunities to advocate for COVID-19 relief to the creative sector and our sector’s importance during this new reality.
