Join us for this next installation in the Spotlight Series as we host Jenny Larios Berlin, Lecturer at MIT Sloan and Entrepreneur in Residence at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship; and Ben Shields, Senior Lecturer at MIT Sloan, for an overview of their new Arts Entrepreneurship Course offered through MITx.
This new course offers artists and creatives a professional development opportunity to help them build financially sustainable careers while staying true to their creative vision. Participants will learn best practices in identifying markets, packaging content, distributing work, and developing successful business models. Additional topics include pricing strategies, marketing and promotion, measuring success, building balanced budgets, fundraising strategies, team building, and the effective use of technology.
This webinar will provide an overview of how the course was developed, who it is intended for, and what a prospective student can expect to learn from this course.
