PreK-12 Remote Learning in Arts Ed and Creative Youth Development

With the current public health crisis, many arts educators and Creative Youth Development (CYD) organizations have had to pivot to remote learning, and a critical need has emerged regarding how best to serve youth in these different ways.

Please join EdVestors, the City of Boston Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture, and the Mass Cultural Council in a virtual conversation exploring remote learning practices in arts education and CYD. Youth arts organizations and practitioners will share tips and challenges they face in serving youth remotely, while keeping their practices consistent with their missions and CYD values of equity, access, youth voice, and collective action.

The goals of the session are to:

Provide a space for arts educators to share tips, methods, and challenges in the development and implementation of remote arts instruction and content.
Focus on tips and ways to engage youth via remote/distance learning.
