Join us for the Poetry Out Loud State Finals.
Poetry Out Loud is the national recitation contest for high school students that celebrates the power of the spoken word and mastery of public speaking skills while cultivating self-confidence and an appreciation of students’ literary heritage as they take poetry from the page to the stage. It has inspired hundreds of thousands of students to discover and appreciate classic and contemporary poetry. Poetry Out Loud Massachusetts is run by the Huntington Theatre Company Education Department in partnership with Mass Cultural Council. The National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation sponsor the national program.
