For board members and directors from participating organizations, the UP Initiative’s Learning Network (ILN) kick off reception will feature performers from the DEAFinitely Dance Crew and Boston based Deaf actor Elbert Joseph. This UP reception is a chance to meet the 2021 ILN cohort and an opportunity to hear directly from young artists within the Deaf community.
The Mission of Deafinitely is to empower Deaf, hard-of-hearing, deaf-blind, deaf-disabled and hearing youth representing multi-lingual, cultural, racial, and socio-economic diversity to spark social change through mentoring, dance and American Sign Language.
