This time we chat with Gregory Jenkins, Executive Director of Somerville Arts Council (SAC). For many years SAC has produced one of Somerville’s most beloved musical events: PorchFest. This year, in compliance with stay-at-home and social distancing guidelines, the council worked with musicians to transform the event into CouchFest. On May 9, CouchFest will take virtual festival-goers on a musical tour of living rooms across the city. Anita and Greg will be joined by Mass Cultural Council’s own Jay Paget who will perform during CouchFest.
