Event Date 12.12.2023
Time: 9am
A session intended for people organizing events supported by Festivals & Projects, Local Cultural Councils, and Cultural Districts. Because public funding brings responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), this Accessibility 101 webinar offers a high level overview to address regulations, disability, and inclusion by design. First steps, access planning, and resources to assist with creating accessible events will be discussed. The session will conclude with a Q&A. This session is a 60 minute online webinar on the Zoom platform.
This event will include live captions and descriptive language. For additional communication features including ASL, please reach out to Charles G. Baldwin at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled learning session.
