How Schools Engage Students: $1.5M Invested in Creative Projects
In FY25, the Agency is funding 300 school-based projects in the arts, humanities, and/or sciences
The Foster Families Pilot Program is a one-year pilot that connects Western Massachusetts Department of Children and Families offices and social workers with a contact person at participating cultural organizations in their region. Social workers and area offices will identify specific needs and opportunities, such as Sibling Saturdays or supervised visits, for DCF-engaged youth and families to engage with cultural organizations. We hope this pilot will unlock the power of culture for some of Massachusetts most vulnerable youth and families.
