As the owner of Barika Photography & Productions, I have created multi-media shows on the Cape Verde Islands and Cape Verdean Americans experience for nearly 50 years. Our company has published a music book on Cape Verdean American Musicians and two Cape Verdean Color Books ( Cape Verde & Cape Verdean American). I have photographed the archipelagoes on 18 visits since 1976 and travel & photographed in seven African countries. I am now working on a photographic book on Cape Verde. I have exhibited at the Smithsonian Institute in 1995 and the World’s Fair in 1992.
