I have been drawing and painting for the past fifty years. I retired from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth after teaching figure drawing and portraiture for thirty years. Throughout my career I have continued to focus on self-portraiture. Selected works I have accomplished have been about my life as a woman and the different roles I have played. Other works have focused on aging. My work has been exhibited as public art. I have currently been painting my life at home, including the flowers and plants that I grow.
