Mary W Hart Artist

Experienced art teacher with a lifelong practice of artmaking and a varied body of work, including illustration, hand lettering, graphic design, collage, painting, book arts, printmaking, installations and cut paper works. I have led public art projects, collaborated and created exhibits and have been active in promoting visual arts in the public space. I have taught and demonstrated my craft at various locations including the American Folk Art Museum in NYC. 
My work reflects a lifelong fascination with combining texts and images. My training as a graphic designer and illustrator enables me to bring various techniques, media and approaches to my work; this fluidity is the principal characteristic of what I create.

I am a creative and engaging instructor, sharing my passion art in all forms. I understand the dynamic of collaborative work and the shared satisfaction of completing vital, engaging artworks.
