Denise Walter

I paint watercolor landscapes, plants, and animals. My work fluctuates between realist and stylized.  

When I am not painting, I am employed as a web developer.  Painting provides a way for me to become grounded, to reflect on recent events, and connect them to my past.  It is a form of meditation which provides a respite from challenges I face, and creates a door to enter into a quieter, more centered place.  From there, I am able to return refreshed and better able to face the day ahead.
