My art works are versatile & are mainly mixed media. Most are representations of womanhood & emotion. Fashion to Religious pieces are the range. I’m a self taught artist who as a child used art as an outlet, that my goal is to provide art as an outlet to our youth &’community.
My Zouljah Art has been in showcases, galleries, auctions mainly south shore & Boston since 2011.
In June 2013 I created a program ” We Will Paint” which is an art supply drive & art time for children who can’t access art & use it as an outlet.
My first experience was providing supplies & art time with the children who reside at the Brockton Family Life Center.
I have also collaborated with Boston Health Coach & vegan expert Letita Richards. We held “Paint and Pour to Wellness” a workshop providing health tips, smoothies and art supplies for our attendees. They enjoyed art instruction while sipping on healthy organic smoothies.
I’m the Gallery Host for IABA Gallery in Brockton and soon to be JamAica Plain. I’m also part of the organization BrocktonArts.org as social media consultant & member.
I have held an art workshop for the students at BCLA in Hyde Park.
