Nipmuc/k Cultural Council

The Nipmuc/k Cultural Council (NCC) is part of the Massachusetts Cultural Council’s Local Cultural Council (LCC) program, the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the United States. The NCC is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and revitalizing Nipmuc culture, traditions, and artistic expression. Through grants, programs, and community initiatives, the council supports enrolled Nipmuc artists, educators, and cultural leaders in their efforts to sustain and share their heritage.

The NCC prioritizes projects that celebrate Nipmuc history, language, storytelling, traditional arts, and environmental stewardship, ensuring that these cultural practices continue to thrive for future generations. By fostering opportunities for cultural engagement and knowledge-sharing, the council strengthens community connections and honors the enduring legacy of the Nipmuc people.
