Lexington Council for the Arts

Mission
The Lexington Council for the Arts’ mission is to promote and fund community arts and culture activities to enhance the quality of life for Lexington residents.

Grants
The Lexington Council for the Arts (LCA) administers Local Cultural Council (LCC) Grants from Mass Cultural Council (MCC). LCC Grants fund or partially fund proposals from individuals, schools and organizations that meet state MCC guidelines as well as Lexington’s local criteria.

Note: The grants are reimbursement based. (The grantees expend their own money, and after the project has taken place, they submit a form to Lexington’s LCC for reimbursement.)
