Huntington Cultural Council
The Huntington Cultural Council is a local agency dedicated to granting state funds, received annually from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, to qualified applicants for culturally-based projects. We are local members helping to benefit our area through awards to diverse programs concentrating in arts, humanities and interpretive sciences. Past awards have supported historical lectures and art classes at the Huntington Library; Huntington COA entertainment for seniors and their families; summer concerts on the green in downtown Huntington; performances and musical clinics at Gateway Regional; museum field trips; pottery demonstrations; concerts and staged readings at North Hall; and online listings of area cultural events for families.
