Danvers Cultural Council

The Danvers Cultural Council is pleased to be among the communities of Massachusetts to support and promote access for all ages to enjoy the arts, humanities and interpretive sciences in partnership with Mass Cultural Council. We strive to create opportunities to broaden and enrich the vitality of the town and our residents.

Our criteria include an emphasis on new or time-honored projects of local artists, performers and instructors, cultural organizations’ programs and classes, events for all levels of schoolchildren, family-oriented events and programs for senior citizens in Danvers.

FY27 Allocation

$14,200

FY27 Local Priorities

1) Priority will be given to projects that would have the greatest impact on members of the community.

2) Applicants who attend the first Danvers Cultural Council meeting for FY27 Grant Cycle will be given priority. The meeting is scheduled for 28 OCT 2026 at the Danvers Senior Center. This allows the Danvers Cultural Council to ask questions and better understand the grant application.

3) Projects that support diversity and inclusion for all residents in the Town of Danvers.

4) Projects that benefit arts, humanities, and science programs for schools in the Town of Danvers.

5) Projects that emphasize building connections, community healing, and encourage inclusion.

FY27 Local Guidelines

Priority will be given to applications that would have the greatest impact on members of the community.

All projects are required to be held in the Town of Danvers, preferably in person.

Applicants should already have confirmed dates with an associated venue / location for their project and be working with an organization in Danvers.

Applicants should not have any outstanding obligations – financial or administrative – to the Danvers Cultural Council.
