Agawam Cultural Council
The Agawam Cultural Council is an all-volunteer local partner of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency, and is funded, in part, by the MCC.
The ACC is charged with advancing the Arts in our community by dispersing state-provided monies via a grant application process. In addition, utilizing funds from our own fundraising efforts — including freewill audience donations — we have made it our mission to present a range of engaging, entertaining, and educational events open to audiences of all ages
from Agawam and the surrounding communities.

FY25 Local Priorities
The Agawam Cultural Council (ACC) exists to promote the Arts and Cultural Events in the Town of Agawam/Feeding Hills. This grant season the council’s focus is on ‘true’ cultural events with emphasis placed on large events open to the general public. In an effort to encourage large public events, we have changed our grant distribution method to ‘Direct Payment’ so that organizations do not have to wait for reimbursement; after holding the event. The ACC will give grant preference to those applicants holding events open to the general public. All grant submissions must include a letter indicating approval to use the location indicated in the application. As a condition of grant approval, the Agawam Cultural Council may request the grant applicant to appear before the council to provide additional information and answer questions.
