Springfield Cultural Council

The Springfield Cultural Council is designed to serve individual(s) and/or organizations throughout Greater Springfield in arts & cultural, interpretive science, and humanities’ projects for public benefit. SCC strongly
believes in making strong investments in community. SCC aims to serve all ethnic groups, genders, etc. SCC encourages non- and for-profit organizations to apply.

FY24 Allocation

$249,300

FY24 Local Priorities

Priority will be provided to projects that directly impact the local community (Springfield).
Priority will be provided to applicants must reside in Springfield.
Priority will be provided to artists and community members who identify as Black, Indigenous, POC, LGBTQX, refugee, immigrant, or person living with a disability.

FY24 Local Guidelines

SCC supports grants between $250 – $5000.
SCC will only accept up to two grant proposals.
SCC requires all applications to be submitted through the on-line portal.
SCC does not limit the number of years any one grantee can return consecutively for funding.
SCC accepts applications for field trips (tickets, travel).
