Provincetown Cultural Council
One of the largest Cultural Districts in the commonwealth, the Provincetown Cultural Council seeks to to fund organizations and individuals that amplify the cultural activities of the district and educate the public about the many cultural offerings of the Provincetown community. We seek to fund organizations and individuals in all art forms including, but not limited to, the visual arts, music, dance, theater, education and the sciences.
Provincetown Cultural Council Policies:
* The activity/event must occur in Provincetown.
* Provincetown residency is not required of the applicant as long as the activity/event occurs in Provincetown.
* The application must be received before the deadline.
* The cultural activity must benefit Provincetown individuals and organizations
Council Priorities: In addition, the cultural activity must meet two or more of the following funding priorities:
* Support local cultural activities that encourage shoulder season interest
* Provide off-season activities for visitors and year-round residents
* Promote racial equity and encourage diversity
* Highlight Provincetown’s unique cultural and natural resources
* The Council prefers projects that are defined in scope and as specific as possible.
