Sexual Harassment & Human Resources Webinar for Nonprofit Organizations

Event Date 10.22.2019

Time: 10am

This webinar is designed to meet your need for information about workplace sexual harassment. Sexual harassment can undermine an organization’s programmatic mission and can cause significant harm. As organizational leaders, you need to know how to prevent sexual harassment and how to respond if it occurs. From our webinar presenter — HR Lawyer Judy Polacheck (www.polacheckhrlaw.com) — you’ll learn about legal obligations for small and large organizations. Also on the agenda: Writing a harassment prevention policy and managing a hybrid workforce of employees, independent contractors and gig workers. While clear answers don’t always come easily in this arena, you’ll leave with practical strategies for intervening when you encounter harassing and discriminatory behavior. You’ll probably also arrive at a more nuanced understanding of your role in creating a safe and respectful working environment.
