Mass Cultural Council and its partners will announce a historic investment in the creative and cultural sector of Western Massachusetts through its Cultural Sector Recovery Grant programs during a press conference and celebration at The Sterling & Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown (225 South Street, Williamstown, MA 01267). More than $9M in pandemic recovery funds will go to cultural organizations, artists, creatives, culture bearers, and gig workers across the region to support recovery from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mass Cultural Council Executive Director Michael J. Bobbitt, regional state and local elected officials, and cultural sector stakeholders will join grant recipients from Western Massachusetts for a brief speaking program, photo-op, and celebration of this important investment.
